This guide shows you exactly what to complete, in order, and why each piece matters. Every tool, quiz, and field notes exercise has a purpose in the trail. Nothing is random. Work through each step before moving to the next. If you are unsure where you left off, find the last step you completed and pick up from there.

Step 01
Mirror Map Quiz
Found under Resources → Mirror Map Quiz
Before the Journey
|
What it is and why it matters
The Mirror Map Quiz happens before Journey One begins. It helps name your resistance pattern, which is often the place where fear, delay, or second guessing tries to pull you off course. This is not part of the journey sequence itself. It is an early layer of clarity so your guide can better understand what may slow you down.
Send your result to your guide. It does not save or send automatically.

|
Step 02
Orientation Day
Live session + Orientation Questionnaire
Homework
|
What it is and why it matters
Orientation is a live session with your guide before the 8 week journey begins. After that session, your homework is the Orientation Questionnaire, 19 questions found under Fusion Field Notes. Answer at least 10. These answers help your guide understand where you are in life, what you are building, and what kind of support will serve you most over the next 8 weeks.
Come ready for prayerful discernment, research, and honest reflection. You do not need to answer all 19. Aim for at least 10, then send them through.

Step 03
Session One Field Notes
Found under Fusion Field Notes → Session One Field Notes
Field Notes
|
What it is and why it matters
Three short reflection prompts that come directly from what was covered in Session 1. Your homework is to find three women already building something similar to what you want to build, not to copy them, but to observe with care and discernment. You are looking at what they do well, what feels unclear, and what you would do differently. This is research, not comparison.
This is your first Field Notes entry. It is the beginning of your Clarity Compass.
|
|
Step 04
Journey One Quiz
Found under Resources → Journey Quizzes & Compass Companion
Quiz
|
What it is and why it matters
The Journey One Quiz gives you language for how you tend to move forward. It reveals a pattern in how you make decisions, take action, respond to pressure, and grow during Journey One. Each result is paired with a woman from Scripture, not because your life is the same as hers, but because her story reflects a similar kind of tension, faith, or movement. This becomes your Compass Companion for Journey One.
This is not a personality label. It is a pattern you can recognize, pray over, and refine as you build what God has entrusted to you.

Step 05
Fusion Portrait
Session Two Field Notes · Tool 1 of 2
Field Notes Tool
|
What it is and why it matters
The Fusion Portrait is your Session Two Field Notes. This is where you begin to put words to who you are, your gifts, your values, and the way you want to show up in your work. The output is a single paragraph that you will build on throughout the journey. It becomes the foundation of your brand voice and your offer framing later.
Complete this tool first before moving to the Function Finder.
|
|
Step 06
Function Finder
Session Two Field Notes · Tool 2 of 2
Field Notes Tool
|
What it is and why it matters
The Function Finder helps you map how your gifts actually function in the context of a business — not just what you are good at, but how those strengths translate into the work you do for others. This is one of the most clarifying exercises in Journey One. Founders who skip it tend to build offers that feel vague.
Both the Fusion Portrait and the Function Finder are found under Session Two Field Notes.

|
Step 07
Offer Skeleton
Session Three Field Notes · the Monday to Thursday exercise
Field Notes
|
What it is and why it matters
The Offer Skeleton is your Session Three Field Notes. This is where you begin shaping the actual structure of your offer — what you are selling, who it is for, and what transformation it creates. The skeleton format means you are not writing a final offer yet. You are laying the bones so that the next sessions can put flesh on them.
The exercise is named "Offer Skeleton" but it lives inside your Session Three Field Notes. Same Monday–Thursday format you know.

|
Step 08
Business Ecosystem Trail Map
Session Four Field Notes · Tool 1 of 4 · Do this first
Interactive Tool
|
What it is and why it matters
Before you can name or position your brand, you need to understand the full ecosystem it lives in. This tool maps your entire business structure, every function, every layer, every connection. It gives you the bird's-eye view so that your naming and identity work in the next steps lands on something real, not just something that sounds good.
Complete this before any of the other Session 4 tools.
|
|
Step 09
How I Name My Brand Names
Session Four Field Notes · Tool 2 of 4 · Read through only
Guidance
|
What it is and why it matters
This is a guided walkthrough, not an exercise. Your guide walks you through real examples of how brand names are built — the thinking behind them, the structure, the meaning. It is a preview and a deeper explanation before you try it yourself. Read through this fully before opening the Name Generator. The more you absorb here, the stronger your naming will be.
Nothing to fill in. This one is for your eyes only — it is a personal look at how your guide approaches naming.
|
|
Step 10
Name Generator
Session Four Field Notes · Tool 3 of 4 · Your turn
Interactive Tool
|
What it is and why it matters
Now you apply it. The Name Generator is where you build your own brand name using the framework your guide just walked you through. This is an active exercise. You are generating, testing, and refining options using a structured method rather than guessing. The goal is not to land on one perfect name immediately, but to surface strong candidates you can evaluate.
Works best right after reading "How I Name My Brand Names." Do not skip the preview step.

|
Step 11
Session Four Field Notes
Session Four Field Notes · Tool 4 of 4 · Monday to Thursday
Field Notes
|
What it is and why it matters
Your weekly Field Notes for Session 4 capture what shifted for you this week — in your thinking, your offer, your brand clarity. This is the reflective layer that holds everything else together. You have done a lot of heavy lifting in Session 4. These notes are how you make sure it all connects and that you are walking into Session 5 with clarity, not just more information.
Complete this last, after working through the three tools above.
|
|
Step 12
Session Five Field Notes
Found under Fusion Field Notes → Session Five Field Notes
Field Notes
|
What it is and why it matters
Your Session Five Field Notes continue building your Clarity Compass, this time with the material and decisions from Session 5. Each week's Field Notes are a direct continuation of the previous — they are not standalone homework. They are part of a cumulative record of your business taking shape. By Week 8, these notes will have built the foundation of your brand story.
These notes help you see what is becoming clearer as your work takes shape.
|
|
Step 13
Visible Action Piece
A simple draft that helps you begin showing the work
Next Step
|
What it is and why it matters
Session Five should not stay only in reflection. It should move into visible action. Choose one simple piece to draft, a short post, a quiet announcement, a message, an email, or a conversation starter that begins opening the door. This worksheet helps you compare how the same message could sound in different places and then draft your own version.
Start small. You are not announcing everything. You are opening the door.
